North West Syria

Over 25,000 people have tragically lost their lives,
and more than 58,000 have been injured
in the escalating violence in Gaza

In North West Syria, a region torn by years of conflict and instability, the humanitarian situation remains acutely dire and demands urgent global attention. The continuous violence has led to widespread displacement, with millions of people living in overcrowded camps or informal settlements, often under extreme conditions. These internally displaced persons (IDPs) face a daily struggle for survival, grappling with inadequate shelter, limited access to clean water, food, and essential health services.

The harsh reality of this protracted crisis is further exacerbated by seasonal challenges, such as harsh winters and scorching summers, making life in temporary shelters even more precarious.educational opportunities for children are severely disrupted, leaving a generation at risk of missing out on crucial learning and development.

Humanitarian agencies are striving to meet these overwhelming needs, but the scale of the crisis outstrips the current level of assistance. This dire situation in North West Syria calls for a heightened and sustained international response. It is imperative to not only address the immediate needs of the affected population but also to work towards long-term solutions that can ensure their safety, dignity, and a chance to rebuild their lives. The resilience of the Syrian people is undeniable, but it is our collective responsibility to support them in transforming that resilience into recovery and hope for a better future.

Winterization in Lebanon: Bringing Warmth in Harsh Winters

As the cold season approaches, the plight of disadvantaged Syrian Internally Displaced People becomes increasingly dire. Families, many of whom reside in makeshift tents, shantytowns, or severely dilapidated housing, face the biting cold and pervasive humidity that exacerbate their already challenging living conditions. In response, our Winterization campaign emerges as a critical initiative, offering more than just relief—it offers a shield against the harsh winter.

This year, as in the past, our campaign is dedicated to providing essential winter supplies to those who need them most. Our focus is on distributing warm clothing—such as jackets, trousers, gloves, and hats—to protect against the freezing temperatures. Additionally, we are committed to supplying warm blankets and bedding, essential items that offer comfort and warmth during the coldest months.

The impact of these simple items cannot be overstated. For families struggling to survive in the harsh conditions of North West Syria this support can mean the difference between enduring and thriving during the winter. Join us in this compassionate endeavor, as we strive to bring warmth and hope to those facing the brunt of winter’s chill.
